Pack2Earth’s story began with a simple yet concerning observation. As passionate hikers and trail runners, our co-founders witnessed thousands of plastic pieces scattered in the countryside, polluting the environment.

Petroleum-based plastics do not break down easily; they take hundreds of years to decompose. Over time, they fragment into tiny nanoplastics and microplastics, which harm wildlife, ecosystems, and human health. Moreover, many fossil-based plastics used for packaging and in direct contact with food contain toxic additives that contaminate what we consume, even if they remain under legally permitted limits.

"If nothing changes, more than 10 generations after our death will live with our plastic waste".

Determined to make a difference, Pack2Earth was founded with a clear goal: To reduce pollution and the health risks caused by petroleum-based plastic in the packaging industry and beyond. We also have a clear mission: To replace fossil-based plastic with our sustainable materials.
